UBTECH Walker S2 — The New-Generation Industrial Humanoid Robot

UBTECH Walker S2 is an industrial humanoid robot with a height of 176 cm, an arm span of 177 cm (excluding dexterous hands), and a weight of 70 kg (excluding dexterous hands). The robot is equipped with an excellent motion degree of freedom configuration: 6 degrees of freedom per leg, 2 degrees of freedom for the waist, 7 degrees of freedom per hand (excluding dexterous hands), and 2 degrees of freedom for the head, enabling flexible human-like movements; the maximum load capacity of both arms reaches 15 kg, which can meet the needs of heavy-duty industrial tasks.

The robot is developed based on full-stack humanoid robot technology and integrates key embodied intelligence technologies such as multi-modal machine learning planning large model, Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM), and learning-based motion control. Its operating system is Ubuntu + ROSA 2.0, supporting intelligent OTA upgrades. It can adapt to unstructured industrial environments and collaborate with autonomous logistics vehicles, autonomous forklifts, and intelligent manufacturing management systems, demonstrating strong environmental adaptability and collaborative operation capabilities.

With the core goal of "alleviating the contradiction between supply and demand of labor in the manufacturing industry", UBTECH Walker S2 is suitable for various industrial scenarios. It can perform high-repetition and high-risk tasks such as box handling, quality inspection, and spraying, promote the flexible unmanned upgrading of industrial scenarios, and contribute to the development of new-type industrialization.

Equipped with a comprehensive sensor suite including depth camera, six-axis force sensor, IMU and fisheye camera, combined with X86 + NVIDIA Jetson Orin computing power configuration, it achieves accurate environmental perception and stable motion control, supporting intelligent autonomous navigation and complex task processing.
